Dr. Ismail is a highly respected, board-certified periodontist with a passion for delivering exceptional care in periodontal and implant dentistry. Born in the picturesque city of Geneva, Switzerland, Dr. Ismail’s journey in dentistry has taken him across continents, driven by a deep commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning.
He earned his dental degree from the prestigious Modern Science and Arts (MSA) University in Cairo, Egypt, in 2009. With a growing interest in restorative dentistry, he continued his training at the UCLA School of Dentistry, completing the Restorative Preceptorship program in 2011. His pursuit of specialized care led him to the University of Kentucky, where he completed a fellowship in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, followed by a rigorous three-year residency in periodontics. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident and earned his Master of Science degree in 2023.
Dr. Ismail’s leadership and expertise have been recognized through multiple honors, including the prestigious Billy Pennel Award from the Southern Academy of Periodontology in 2022. His dedication to research has resulted in several publications in respected dental journals and numerous academic accolades from the University of Kentucky.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Dr. Ismail remains at the forefront of advancements in his field. His professional affiliations reflect his commitment to excellence and to staying current with the latest innovations in periodontal and implant care.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Ismail is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young daughters, Layal and Kenz. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, playing tennis, and attending car races and car shows.
